The Saint Petersburg studio grew out of the city itself: grey and white, the restraint of concrete and a courtyard-well outside the window. When we created it, we were interested in minimalism, so we hardly tried to add anything to that restraint. Hands are the main tool of the profession, yet also its most ordinary part. Here they stop being ordinary and become an object — a statement sculpture of hands by Sergey Dyakov.
